My Story

Through years of working in toxic environments in leadership roles, I know firsthand what it means to be a part of a demoralizing workplace.  Strengthening and encouraging employees were not a priority or deemed important. This resulted in high employee turnovers, unmet performance goals, and a lack of commitment which impacted profitability and customer satisfaction.  To improve morale and avoid a downward spiral, there must be a cultural change that gives value to others.  After all, happy people equate to happy customers.  Because of my leadership approach of valuing people, executive leaders from my organization sought me out to become the change agent in shifting the culture within the organization.  This opportunity led me to establish a roadmap to boosting morale that resulted in lower employee attrition, people development, and profitability.  Leaders who have adopted the principles from my signature coaching process attest to their team members being more impactful.  This demonstrates that morale has a tremendous impact on meeting your objectives.

Personal History

With over 30 years of corporate experience in manufacturing operations, financial management, quality, and general management, I have established a history of success as a resilient and innovative leader. I utilize this wealth of knowledge and expertise in the coaching sector. Additionally, I have a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Newburgh College. My educational background encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including Communications, Team Building, Managing Organizational Change, Principles of Management, and Organizational Commitment Building.  I’m a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker.  Training at the Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute (CaPP) has provided me with an approach that is practical and resilient in moving people forward based upon their needs.

Diligent Leadership is built upon several values.  These values are self-concept, self-esteem, and self-worth.  I believe they are essential for self-improvement as well as impacting the lives of others in a positive way.  My belief is that life flows from within and manifests itself outwardly.  Because of this, I choose to serve others in unearthing potential using the above-mentioned values.
